How do I report a bug?

If you are looking to report a bug, there are several things you can do that can help before submitting the bug.  If you are unable to get some of the items in these steps, don't worry, we will still try to fix the bug.  The first step would be to visit the Deadfire forums and look to see if your bug has already been reported.  Please make sure that if you have been using any Mods, that you turn those off before reproducing the issue to be sure that the modifications are not causing the issue.  If your bug has not yet been reported, then the following steps will help to provide the most information to get the bug fixed.

1. A brief summary of the bug.

2. A screen shot of the bug.

3. Detailed steps of how to reproduce the bug.

4. A save file from before the bug occurred.*

5. Crash logs.**

Once you have the items, put them into a .zip folder.  Now you can visit the Deadfire forums and create a post with the items.  If the file size is too big to post on the forums, please email them to us at support@obsidian.net along with your forum user name and a link to the thread to be used as a reference.
